impACTup!: Academic Pathways to Impact and Innovation
a. What is the program about?#
The course “impACTup!: Academic Pathways to Impact and Innovation” is the corresponding format to the course “impACTup!: Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Better Futures”, designed for scientific personnel in form of a hybrid workshop. In addition to the fundamentals of impact-oriented entrepreneurship, we provide multiple examples that aim at promoting impact-oriented thinking in teaching and research and strengthening innovative ideas. Participants will receive a reader (see FAQs for further explanation), which acts as their personal toolbox towards impact-oriented thinking. The course has both online and on demand elements. The closing event is held live on-site at the university.

Participants receive the reader after an online meeting with all participants. In the reader, there are videos and exercises embedded to learn from and explore. Participants can choose their own speed in which they want to finish the tasks in the reader. There will be a closing event on site, where insights and questions will be discussed. E.g., you receive the reader on Monday, on Thursday the closing event takes place.
It takes approximately five hours to watch all the videos and do every exercise.
