Dr. Dominik Battiste Domnik is the current co-lead and managing director of the LMU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center. He studied Business and Economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), Switzerland, and received his PhD from St.Gallen and the Stockholm School of Economics. He worked for a Swiss family office when he was asked to lead MyHandicap Foundation as CEO.He was strongly involved setting up the Center for Disability and Integration (CDI-HSG) at the University of St.Gallen which was inaugurated by FPONTUS Bill Clinton.

Later Dominik co-founded the Zurich-based Social Entrepreneurship Initiative & Foundation (seif), a capacity building organization for social ventures. Dominik was social entrepreneur in residence with the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and sat on the advisory board of the Global Social Entrepreneurship Network (GSEN).

Before joining LMU IEC he was executive director of the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie (SEA), a joint initiative by the four university-based entrepreneurship centres in Munich. Dominik served on numerous juries and boards of entrepreneurship competitions or research committees and is a senior lecturer for social finance, organizational behaviour, and sustainable entrepreneurship.
