Project Support | Impact Entrepreneurship


The Chair of Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Sustainability (Prof. Ali Gümüsay), within the framework of LMU IEC, is seeking a qualified student assistant at the earliest possible date.

Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) is one of the most prestigious and largest universities in Germany. The interdisciplinary work of the chair focuses on the intersection of entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability. Through collaboration with businesses, policymakers, and the public, the aim is to jointly create societal and economic value.

The LMU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center (LMU IEC) promotes entrepreneurial and innovative thinking and action, supports the development of innovations and startups, and connects the startup, founder, and innovation scene around LMU Munich.

Responsibilities:

  • Support in literature research in the areas of impact entrepreneurship, post-growth, etc.
  • Support in project-related research for third-party funding (ERC Consolidator Grant)
  • Assistance with administrative tasks
  • Assistance with communication tasks (News website, social media)
  • Support with organizational matters and document filing: shared materials, assessment tables, templates, and summaries

Requirements & Motivation:

  • Independent work ethic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Interest in entrepreneurship and social innovation in research, teaching, and practice
  • Proficiency in standard software (MS Office)
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for design
  • Basic knowledge in scientific writing and literature reviews

Your Profile:

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree at LMU or another university.
  • You enjoy thinking creatively and outside the box.
  • You are motivated and responsible, with a willingness to drive your own sub-projects.
  • You are organized, a team player, self-reliant, and detail-oriented.
  • You have excellent spoken and written English skills.
  • You have 10-12 hours per week available.
