We are delighted to announce an exciting collaboration between the LMU Innovation Incubator and the Universitätsgesellschaft (MUG). Building on our shared commitment to fostering innovation and academic excellence, this partnership marks a significant milestone in our journey toward driving positive change.

The Munich University Society (MUG) has a long history of awarding prizes to young academics at LMU. Every year, MUG award prizes for outstanding dissertations and post-doctoral theses as well as research prizes for Bachelor's and Master's theses.

Following the new University Innovation Act, MUG now wants to supplement the range of prizes with a biannual prize for knowledge transfer and impact for start-up projects. In this way, MUG wants to incentivize the knowledge acquired at LMU to be converted into products as quickly and effectively as possible and thus create social benefits.

In line with our dedication to recognizing the transformational power of science from within LMU, we are proud to share that MUG is sponsoring a funding prize for knowledge transfer and impact entrepreneurship, which will be awarded to one of our Incubation program participant teams.

The award aims to honor pioneering start-up projects that demonstrate remarkable potential for impact and entrepreneurship.
