Startups from our incubation program make their mark at BayStartUP competition

Two promising startups—iNSyT Technologies and ProP—from the LMU Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center’s incubation program have successfully secured positions in the first phase of the Munich Business Plan Competition 2025, organized by BayStartUP. 🚀

These two startups were among the ten selected from 139 applications for their innovative business concepts in industries such as biotechnology, AI, quantum computing, and renewable energy.

  • ProP is developing targeted pro-proteins for a novel Type 2 diabetes therapy, aimed at improving blood sugar regulation and reducing long-term complications. 🔬

  • iNSyT Technologies is creating the first truly non-invasive real-time microscope for ultrafast nano processes, with the potential to revolutionize research in material science and green energy.⚡

Their success in this competition highlights LMU IEC’s commitment to cultivating entrepreneurial talent and supporting startups that drive technological and societal impact.

As iNSyT and ProP move forward, their dedication and hard work continue to drive their success. Maren Heimhalt and team ProP, from our current Incubation Cohort 6 and Mohsen Mousavi Belavi, Christoph Gruber, and the rest of the team iNSyT have put in incredible effort to develop and refine their groundbreaking ideas.

At LMU IEC, we proudly support their journey and celebrate their achievements. We know that their persistence, innovation, and passion will take them even further, and we can’t wait to see what’s next! 🚀👏
